Inquiry

Start here

1 · Tell the agent who you are

Name, company, country and the language you want explanations in. Replies to suppliers stay in English unless you choose otherwise.

2 · Create a deal

One deal per supplier: product, quantity, target price, goals. Everything the agent writes is tailored to it.

3 · Paste what they wrote

Any language, any stage: a first message, a quote, a PI, a complaint. Get the decode and the reply, then copy it into Alibaba.

Product specification

Saved with the active deal
Fills empty fields with typical requirements and certificates for your country.

RFQ (Request for Quotation)

Fill in the spec and generate an RFQ you can send to 5-10 suppliers at once. Clear specs get real prices and filter out suppliers that cannot deliver.

Spec sheet (attach to the PI)

A one-page technical specification with tolerances, materials, packaging and acceptance criteria. Attach it to the PI so "quality" is defined before you pay.

Compliance for your country

Which marks, tests, labels and documents this product needs to be sold legally in your country, and what to ask the supplier for.

Order milestones

Landed cost

Carton calculator (CBM and weight)

Shipping estimates use typical 2026 rate bands (sea ≈ USD 90–140/CBM + USD 150 fixed; rail ≈ USD 220/CBM; air ≈ USD 4.5/kg chargeable; express ≈ USD 7/kg). Always get real quotes from a forwarder. Duty is charged on goods + freight + insurance; VAT on that plus duty plus fees.

EXW quotes get +6% for inland transport and export handling. CIF/CFR quotes already include freight. DDP quotes already include freight and duty.

Inspection checklist

Give this to your inspector (or use it yourself on samples). Generated from the product spec; tick items as you verify them.

Inspection types: what, when, cost
TypeWhenWhat it catchesTypical cost
Factory auditBefore the first orderWhether the factory exists, capacity, licences, quality system, social complianceUSD 300-600
PPI (pre-production)Before production startsRaw materials and components match the spec; golden sample on siteUSD 200-300
DUPRO (during production)At 20-50% completionEarly defects while they are still cheap to fix; real scheduleUSD 200-300
PSI (pre-shipment)At 80-100% packedQuantity, workmanship, function, packaging, labels, AQL samplingUSD 200-300
Container loading checkOn loading dayRight goods, right quantity, condition, loading and seal numberUSD 200-300

Rule of thumb: PSI on every order above USD 3,000 or with a new supplier; add DUPRO for first orders above USD 10,000.

Defect classification: critical / major / minor

Critical (AQL 0): unsafe, illegal, or makes the product unsellable: sharp edges, exposed wiring, wrong voltage, missing safety mark, allergen mislabelled, broken seals. One critical defect fails the lot.

Major (AQL 2.5): the customer would return it: does not work, wrong colour or size, cracks, stains, bad stitching, misprinted logo, missing parts.

Minor (AQL 4.0): the customer would notice but keep it: small scratches, slight colour variation, loose threads, small print misalignment.

Write examples for your own product into the PI so the supplier and the inspector use the same list.

AQL quick reference (ISO 2859-1, level II)
Lot sizeSampleAccept / reject at AQL 2.5 (major)AQL 4.0 (minor)

3,201–10,00020010 / 1114 / 15
10,001–35,00031514 / 1521 / 22

Critical defects: AQL 0 (any critical defect fails the lot). Write the AQL levels into the PI so both sides agree what "pass" means before production.

Running from your own web host

Only needed when this page is not opened via claude.ai

Upload alibaba-agenten.html and aa-live.json to your web host. There the page cannot use your claude.ai account, so it needs an Anthropic API key to think (stored only in this browser, sent only to api.anthropic.com). Live data: the page fetches the JSON below every minute and updates holidays, milestones and notices on the dashboard.

Format of aa-live.json
{
  "updated": "2026-09-20",
  "notices": ["Ningbo port congested this week: add 5 days to sea transit."],
  "holidays": {
    "China": [["National Day Golden Week", "2026-10-01", "2026-10-08"]],
    "Vietnam": [["Tet", "2027-02-01", "2027-02-15"]]
  },
  "milestones": [
    { "deal": "Ningbo Eco Goods", "label": "Container arrives Aarhus", "date": "2026-11-02" },
    { "deal": "", "label": "Forwarder rate review", "date": "2026-10-15" }
  ],
  "events": [

Holidays you list replace the built-in list for that country. Milestones and events appear in the dashboard feed with a "live" tag; notices show at the top. Edit the file on your host; every open copy of the page picks it up within a minute.
